The Flaming Kiwi is a great place to meet amazing people and, above all, to relax. You can do both here! The first time I stayed was in 2016, and I’ve been coming back ever since. The hostel has everything you need, and the staff is absolutely fantastic, shoutout to Kent and Emilia! If you’re going to Queenstown, please don’t stay anywhere else. I’ve stayed in other hostels, but this one gives you the full combo of goodness! I can’t wait to come back!

LyLo Queenstown is within walking distance of restaurants, shopping and Queenstown's vibrant nightlife. For adrenaline seekers, the property is just 200 metres from Skyline Gondola and Luge. Very easy to get to in town walking. Great location. Helpful and friendly staff. Clean rooms and facilities. Comfortable bed. Breakfast included was at a great restaurant. Close by the bus stops.

Nomad's Backpackers boasts one of the best locations in Queenstown, located in the heart of the town center, a 100 metres from the stunning Lake Whakatipu. The private room was fantastic - much larger than I was expecting, plus it had a small window for natural light to come through (I wasn't expecting any windows, like another hostel I was previously in). The private shower was nice too, and I appreciate that this room also had a desk and two lamps.
