Located in Turangi, Riverstone Lodge, a 5-star hostel, offers a shared kitchen, a shared lounge and free WiFi. The property provides garden views and a terrace. It was such a cute hostel, absolutely amazing. I was lucky enough staying with other guests that were baking cookies and scones for everybody and people were open and friendly. Room was clean and super nice - and the owner is very friendly too.

The kitchen is very clean, organised and big, so a lot of people could fit there easily and still not get too crowded. I liked the idea of different activities even if I stayed only for 2 night and didn’t participated. I loved the locker for the food; no one was really using a padlock but the fact of having your own space to put your food was really good. Everything was really clean.

It has everything you need and in the middle is a nice garden with hammocks where you can relax. The staff is very friendly and Ian is an amazing guy who really cares about the visitors and wants to help you in every way possible. Planned going there for only 1 night but it became 3 nights because it's hard to leave that place (in a positive way 😉)

Very nice hostel right in the small and cute Hahei town, walking distance to the stunning Hahei beach, and great to start from to hike to Cathedral Cove (just 40 min). Very nice wooden room with super comfortable bed and bed linen, clean shared bathroom, spacious and welcoming shared kitchen and living room. Very convenient parking right in front of the room. Possibility to do laundry but you’ll need NDZ cash. The staff is really nice and helpful too. I loved the birds in the morning! Will stay here again next time!
