Located in the heart of the city, Capital Wellington Backpackers offers 5-star backpackers accommodation. It is a 5-minute walk from Wellington's stunning waterfront. Stayed for five days, and I must say it was both comfortable and convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the facilities were clean. It is also conveniently located right in the city center, close to almost everything and one can find their way through even without google map (I did on the first day).
