Best place I stayed in all of New Zealand!! Sandra is incredibly kind and helpful. Riverstone was a great base to wait out the weather to hike the tongariro crossing. The place itself is super clean and cozy, and has a nice patio to enjoy the sun and a well equipped kitchen.

Situated in the town of Ohakune, on the edge of Tongariro National Park, LKNZ Lodge & Cafe is within 5 minutes' walk of restaurants, bars and shops. It features a sauna, hot tubs and an on-site cafe. So accommodating and comfortable basically had the place to myself and allowed late check in due to my travels
