This was my second time at Casa Areka and can't wait til I can come back again in the future! Such a cozy little hostel, with amazing, funny and super welcoming staff - always makes you feel like you are literally visiting your family from abroad (Jose, Jesus, Mattias <3)! The facilities are in great shape - considering that the price is *extremely* low, especially for Panama City, and the breakfast delicious as well. There are even two cats that often visit the hostel, which only adds to the overall vibe :) Highly recommend a stay, 10/10.

The hostel is small but has a really good outdoor space. Everything was neat and clean. Nelson was an awesome host and graves really valuable tips while we were there. The attention (customer service) and kindness from the staff and owner was superb. The location is excellent. The check-in system is very good and user friendly. I loved that guests can have late check-in times, and I loved that check-out is at 1p.m. The bathroom was very clean and had very good water pressure and toiletries. The room was small but very comfortable. It did not have AC, but I was provided with a big fan. Loved it. Did not miss the AC at all. Very strong Wifi. Lots of space and drawers to put away things. Convenience store right across the street.
