I stayed at Bambuda Lodge Santa Catalina in two different rooms, first a private house and then a room in the main building. Both were great, but what really stood out was the pool area with its magnificent view over the sea. I have visited several Bambuda locations and this one had the best food. The staff is incredibly friendly and can arrange anything you need, from Coiba tours to surf classes. The location is perfect, right between the two main beaches, making it easy to go back and forth. I ended up staying an extra day because I loved it so much. Highly recommend and a million thanks to the Bambuda Santa Catalina team for making my stay so memorable.

The shared spaces were all nice and clean. The bungalows were cute and had everything you needed. With the ceiling fan and wall fan the room isn’t too hot. Also the location is pretty good as it’s close to most of the restaurants and about a short walk from both beaches.

The hostel is located 20minutes out of town (by foot). It’s the perfect spot to relax! The beach is crazy beautiful. It feels like paradise and is perfect for surfers. The staff was really welcoming and the facilities clean! This has been by far my favorite hostel stay in Panama and I recommend everyone to go there!

Such a gem of a surf hostel. I was meant to stay for 2 days but extended to a week. The staff was super accommodating, facilities were clean and I felt right at home. Very chill but still lots of activities going on. 10/10!!!

So glad we picked this place to stay while in Santa Catalina. Ideal spot, it's between the village centre and playa el estero ( the surf beach). So a great place to have a good access to both. Italo the owner is a super cool guy, the vibe of the place is great, and the view is just jaw dropping

Mike, the owner, is an excellent chef. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and dinner. He speaks many languages so communication was easy. We learned a lot from him about the area. TORIO is a very small rural location in a lush tropical setting with very friendly people. Nearby is Playa TORIO which has good swimming.

Really friendly relaxed vibe for a great price. Pancakes for brekky. Liked the upstairs loft dorm with single beds, - may not be the best if you are a super light sleeper. Hammocks and lounges on the veranda. Can ask bus drivers to let you out here instead of bus stop further along. Easy to walk anywhere. It is being still built so some toilets without lights but not a biggy.
