El Pariwana Hostel Cusco está situado a unos 400 metros de la plaza central de Cuzco y cuenta con restaurante y bar. First, the people who work here are so friendly! Sheila was absolutely wonderful with making me feel welcome and providing advice and assistance. Also, my private room was so comfortable, with a big bathroom and a heater (which is so nice to come back to when it's cold and wet outside!). The whole hostel is beautiful and they provide activities for guests to participate in. I only got to do the free walking tour and pisco making class because I was so busy doing all the incredible things Cusco has to offer, but both of these were fantastic. The daily yoga classes looked very peaceful and lovely and I wish I could have participated. They have coca tea and coca leaves available for free for guests in multiple spots around the hostel to help guests deal with the altitude. The location is great, convenient walking distance from everything and very close to the Plaza de Armas, which you HAVE to spend time in during the day and at night - it's so pretty! It gets quiet at 10pm every night so you can sleep. They cleaned the room every day.

Rómulo and Helga were fantastic hosts: so warm, welcoming, and going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We ended up extending our stay here because we didn’t want to leave! Our room was awesome, nicely decorated, good natural light, with hot water bottles delivered each night to make our beds even cozier. Breakfast was avocado, toast and jam, and 2 eggs sunny side up. There was tea and hot water available all the times in the kitchen. Helga loves plants and the garden area right outside the kitchen was very beautiful and with lots of birds! My favorite thing about this place, besides the hosts, is that you can walk out the door and be in a lovely natural park-like setting where you can walk to many nearby archeological sites. Rómulo showed us around Temple of the Moon and gave us a very spirited tour, which was a highlight. It’s a really fun walk into town on the Inca Trail and down a pedestrian stairway lined with restaurants— even though it’s “far” from the city center, it’s actually a very nice walk to get into town, along peaceful paths with no cars! On the day we left, Rómulo drove us into town, along with 2 groups of other guests, and helped us exchange money, get an oil change, find the right entrance to a museum, etc. He took care of all of us and helped us along our way. Incredible hosting!

Lia B&B Lucmabamba, que tiene jardín, bar y wifi gratis, está en Sahuayacu, a 17 km de Huayna Picchu y a 19 km de Machu Picchu. Museo de Sitio Manuel Chávez Ballón está a 19 km del albergue. El lugar me encanto ademas de el tour de cafe que te da Fredy es realmente enriquecedor, y al final probar el cafe que ellos mismos producen, recomendado mil veces.

Salkantay Hostel Chaullay es un alojamiento de 3 estrellas que está en Santa Teresa, a 36 km de Huayna Picchu, y que tiene jardín, restaurante y bar. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Room is comfortable.

Casa Terra Sagrada, que cuenta con jardín y terraza, se encuentra en el centro de Cuzco, a 2,5 km de Estación de tren de Wanchaq. had a wonderful stay at Casa Terra. The accommodation is extremely well maintained and beautifully set within restored historic walls right in the center of Cusco. I could walk everywhere which made exploring the city very easy. The check in process was flexible and smooth, and I received many excellent local recommendations that made my stay even better. The hosts were exceptionally attentive and friendly. They took real time to help with every question and made me feel genuinely welcomed. Casa Terra is a place with great character, comfort and warm hospitality. I would happily stay here again and can recommend it without hesitation.
