Unassuming facade, but once inside, I was pleasantly surprised that it's bright, clean and organized. Staff were friendly and helpful. Inside slippers were provided (which is a nice Asian touch),while shoes are kept in a shoebox locker for safety. There's a common room and free coffee. Bunkbeds are spacious that each has a mini cabinet and a drawer,even a trash bin. Bed and pillow are comfortable. I wish the light was a bit brighter though for those wanting to read. Blinds are installed per bed for privacy. Now this is a hostel that is actually at par with ones I have stayed at in Europe: clean, comfortable and safe. Of course being a shared dorm one would expect some noise from fellow travellers but everyone was considerate with their voices and movements, I was able to nap before checking out early to catch my flight. I hope they can expand because this is a very nice place to stay at for those in layover, and it's budget friendly too. You can find a convenience store, bar/resto,spa and laundry on the ground floor. It's proximity to the airport is also a plus. I'm impressed. Will definitely be back.

Great location, everything was clean, staff were fantastic and very helpful. Booked canyoneering and motorbike rental through hostel, both great.

Really nice chill place with a nice common area and the owner joker is a really nice guy! They have good food there and the hut was really everything we needed and it was perfect with the fun. We also heard the dorms are really nice

One of the most luxurious hostels I stayed in - definitely was not expecting this level of care and attention to detail! Everything is meticulously clean comfortable, and dorms are fully equipped with AC, large lockers, curtains, plug sockets, reading light and they even provide you with slippers! The free coffee voucher for the coffee shop next door, as well as the complimentary lemonade on arrival really made this a 5-star stay. Not to mention the discount on massages!

Quiet and great location near many restaurants and the sardine run. Remy was lovely and super helpful. I rented snorkel gear from her and she was happy to organise canyoneering for me even though I had messaged at night. The dorm was comfortable and clean and lockers are available to use.

After 10 months of travelling, one of the best vibes i had in a hostel. Very social thanks to the vibe Momo install in the place. She is the best host i‘ve ever had and felt like a friend hanging out with us 🫶🏼 Thank you Momo!!!!! And beds are comfy, clean, bathrooms perfect… Everything you wish for in a hostel 🥰

MAAYONG HOSTEL có khu vườn, phòng chờ chung, sân hiên và nhà hàng ở Moalboal. Với quầy bar, chỗ nghỉ nằm cách Bãi biển Basdiot 7 phút đi bộ. I loved the design of the place so cool for me, this has been one of the best places I ever stayed (female dormitory), the people who attends it help you in everything, very nice and servicial. I booked all my tours there, there is a very big and cool area to chill, loved my bed and spaces.

Next to port to cross to Malapascua island. The owners areva lovely couple who keep the place super clean, modern, and simple. Great WiFi & a restaurant next door, plus the Ceres bus arrives next door too (it's a public bus from Cebu).
