My friend and I had the best time at Home Sweetie! Max and Anna, the owners are absolutely wonderful! They make you feel at home and they will always let you join them for night out! We went to trivia night and watch sunset together! The guest house has everything you need, the location is perfect and you can walk to the beach or the main road where you find bars and cafes! Totally recommended, we hope to come back again soon and spend more time at their place :) thank youuuuu

Amazing staff Momo, Wilma, Alliah and Lovely. Lovely gave me many good travel tips on what to see in the Philippines. I also found the hostel dog Jack adorable. Cleanliness level is very good. Very easy to book canyoneering trip through the hostel. A/C is very good and you can control the temperature easily with the remote. The curtain gives privacy in the bunk beds and it is easy to charge your devices from the power outlets. Mattress was very good and pillows were firm. They also make sure that sheets are changed frequently if you stay longer time. I really liked the safety boxes as not all hostels provide them. They were spacious enough for my valuables. They also tell you where you can rent mask and snorkel for the sardine run.

I loved the design of the place so cool for me, this has been one of the best places I ever stayed (female dormitory), the people who attends it help you in everything, very nice and servicial. I booked all my tours there, there is a very big and cool area to chill, loved my bed and spaces.

At first, I planned to stay two nights in this hotel, but I ended up staying the entire week in Cebu! The woman who manages this hostel is incredibly kind, helpful, and has a big heart. She will do everything to make you feel at home. The rest of the staff is also very friendly. She offered me some "day tours" organized in Cebu. The price for these day tours is very reasonable, and they allow you to visit several places like Cebu City, Moalboal (canyoneering, sardines, turtles), or Oslob (whale sharks, Sumilon Island). These day tours are well-organized, and you’ll manage to do everything on the itinerary on time. You definitely do more things than if you organize it yourself. You do the activities with other people from different hotels or hostels, and most of them are Filipinos who are very friendly and include you with them. You have a private driver with your group, which saves you from worrying about traffic and transportation costs. Also, your luggage is completely safe in the van. At the hotel, I was also given a padlock to store my suitcase in a locker. The bedding and towels are changed very frequently, I think every day. The shower water is hot, there are toilets in the room, but also other toilets downstairs. Water is available for you. You get free small cakes and candies. The atmosphere is very family-friendly, and I love the vibe of this hostel. I arrived very late because my Manila-Cebu flight was delayed, and the lady waited for me and even carried one of my suitcases up to my room. She even drove me to some stores on my first day. I made friends at the hostel and during the day tours. I highly recommend it (especially if you’re traveling solo), and if I need to come back, I will stay here again! My trip wouldn’t have been the same without choosing this place.
