Built just beside the water stream. In the morning you really feel like waking up in nature. Free breakfast of bread omelet water mellon and coffee. Only 2~3 km from Ferry terminal. I would suggest to rent a motorbike right outside the Ferry terminal. The ideal rate is 300 peso/day. Room bed was spacious with fan (no need of AC). I wanted to stay more nights here but it was all booked for next weeks

My favourite hostel in a 2 month trip. At first I was going to stay in Izla Soanna for 3 nights and ended up staying 9 nights an then coming back! The rooms are very clean and comfy, they have a fan per bed and nice mosquito nets. There is also the option of affordable private rooms. The location is just perfect, very near the nicest beach in panglao and at short distance from alona where all the touristy shops are. What I enjoyed the most was the people there, Anna, Flor and Sofia will make you always feel like home, they are extremely nice, helpful and funny. Definitely worth spending some time with them!

I decided to stay in this property while solo travelling and it turned out to be a brilliant choice. The hosts here are great and very helpful and they even gave me a ride to a nearby beach. The room is well equipped with a fridge and a kettle while the sheets and towels are changed every two days. I would definitely stay here again!

Angel and her family are incredibly warm and welcoming, creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable, ensuring a great night’s rest. It’s located in a quiet area yet conveniently close to everything, including the airport. Motorbike rentals are available, making it easy to explore the surroundings. I truly felt at home here and highly recommend staying. I would definitely return!

It was my first time to stay in a hostel like this. very organized, clean, peaceful and nice! You can rent a scooter in the property and the staff help us everytime. will surely recommend this to my friends.

Made me stay one week eventually 😊 The staff are amazing, very welcoming and helping when needed. The Friday family dinner is very good as well! This place is very chill, and good for relaxing. Far from the touristic area. It's a very good place for it's value.

Loved our time in Mad Monkey Panglao. Everyone staying there mixed really well due to the intimate and close nature of the hostel. But the highlight of staying here was certainly the staff, especially Takoo. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Helped us organise trips, ferries and even took on the role of nurse at one stage. She really made our time in Mad Monkey. Super singer too! The pop up tattoo shop is a nice touch here, gave me an opportunity to mark my time in the madness.
