Set in Pusok, 9.4 km from SM City Cebu, Otravel Hostel 5 minutes from Mactan Airport offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a terrace. The property is located 11 km from Ayala Center Cebu, 12 km from Fort San Pedro and 12 km from Magellan's Cross. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and a 24-hour front desk for guests. Unassuming facade, but once inside, I was pleasantly surprised that it's bright, clean and organized. Staff were friendly and helpful. Inside slippers were provided (which is a nice Asian touch),while shoes are kept in a shoebox locker for safety. There's a common room and free coffee. Bunkbeds are spacious that each has a mini cabinet and a drawer,even a trash bin. Bed and pillow are comfortable. I wish the light was a bit brighter though for those wanting to read. Blinds are installed per bed for privacy. Now this is a hostel that is actually at par with ones I have stayed at in Europe: clean, comfortable and safe. Of course being a shared dorm one would expect some noise from fellow travellers but everyone was considerate with their voices and movements, I was able to nap before checking out early to catch my flight. I hope they can expand because this is a very nice place to stay at for those in layover, and it's budget friendly too. You can find a convenience store, bar/resto,spa and laundry on the ground floor. It's proximity to the airport is also a plus. I'm impressed. Will definitely be back.

The rooms have a balcony with river views and free WiFi. Best and friendliest service I've had so far. Lend me a scooter for free to ride to dinner on the day of arrival. Was invited to a family reunion. I was able to join them for lunch. Great breakfast and free kayaking. I'd love to come back.

At the accommodation, rooms have a seating area. Instead of a quick jump at Bohol we stayed over night. We could not select better place for our stay! Great owner that gave us a lot od tips! Amazing breakfast!

The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and free WiFi throughout the property. Felt very homey and unique! Nicest staff out of any hostel I’ve ever stayed at! Felt like one big happy family. The family dinner was amazing and so yummy.

It’s a great hostel, very spacious and comfy, with big lockers and really nice staff. The space is super clean even tho there’s quite a lot of people. They also have a canteen with budget friendly prices, good food and a wide choice of cakes, AND a spa area where you can get a good massage with a discount for hostel guests. A great place to stay if you wanna be close to the airport or just lay low for a few days.

Fantastic hosts : Anna and her partner Maxime made me feel like part of the family, they are absolute gems ! Always available with a big smile on their face. They go the extra mile to answer any needs, they are very friendly and welcoming. I will miss them dearly. The property : the hostel is small which makes you feel like home (the name of the hostel is definitely adequate). The dorm offers single and double bunk beds with shared bathroom or a private room. Good mattress and pillow, privacy curtains all around your bed, AC woks well. Great value for money ! Location : ideal ! You can walk to the beach (sardines run) and to town where you’ll find plenty of restaurants & bars. Food : Free drinkable water and coffee available all day long. The host Anna cooks and offers a free “bundle fight” meal every Friday night to gather the guests together and make you discover a very Filipino traditional meal. You definitely dont want to miss it ! The breakfast is very affordable and super yummy, vegetarian option available. Service : many tours available for the best price (cheaper than other places I’ve seen), Anna will help you get a scooter to rent or will call you a tricycle if needed (once again, best prices since she is Filipina and has good contacts) The free Wifi connection is great, didn’t have any issue. Free card games / board games available to use for rainy days. Laundry service available. Cleanliness : you share a bathroom with your fellow travellers and the shower & toilets are aside so obviously it can get messy with sand and water (just like everywhere else in the Philippines). Just kindly let Anna know and she will take care of it right away ! The room was clean and the bedsheets smelled amazing. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you guys, you made my stay unforgettable.

At the hostel, every room has a desk. The units at Susing Seaside Guesthouse come with a private bathroom and bed linen. The owners were INCREDIBLY helpful with booking rides and excursions. The beds were great, the water pressure wasn't great in the shower, but it was good enough. The location is perfect perfect perfect. Within walking distance of the main area with restaurants and coffee shops and excursions, but far enough away you can escape it.

Located around 49 km from Tarsier Conservation Area, the hostel is also 18 km away from Baclayon Church. I had a wonderful experience at Izla. The 2 girls working are amazing. So friendly and welcoming. I talked a lot with them and saw them more as friends then host/staff. I am looking forward coming back to Bohol to stay here again
