Riu del Mar Hostel nằm ở Dauis, cách Hang Hinagdanan 5.8 km và Khu bảo tồn Tarsier Conservation Area 40 km. Ngoài bếp chung, chỗ nghỉ này còn có sân hiên. Riu is special! It’s located close enough to the island hustle (I walked across the bridge in to Taglibaran easily) yet also away enough in its own peaceful area to feel like a retreat. It’s a great location to scooter/Tuk tuk down to Alona but also close to the Port and Bohol. The bungalows are spacious with a balcony and if you’re a backpacker like me, easy to catch up on your washing! I was in the shared bungalow with considerate people so it was relaxing and a great experience. The river is great for a cool down swim and the property is well landscaped with some loungers to relax. It is small and very personable for a great experience. The staff and owner are incredibly helpful and also have quality scooters on hand for renting at a great rate.

One of the most luxurious hostels I stayed in - definitely was not expecting this level of care and attention to detail! Everything is meticulously clean comfortable, and dorms are fully equipped with AC, large lockers, curtains, plug sockets, reading light and they even provide you with slippers! The free coffee voucher for the coffee shop next door, as well as the complimentary lemonade on arrival really made this a 5-star stay. Not to mention the discount on massages!

I had an amazing time here. Truly a gem of a place in the heart of atmospheric Bohol. Beautiful surroundings, cool & relax place, very social through the amazing home-cooked dinner, great staff, nice vibe for travellers.

The hostel owner and her team went above and beyond to ensure I was helped and catered for, they looked after me like I was one of their family and helped me with anything I needed. It was one of the loveliest hostels I have stayed in. Everything was 10/10. The location is very peaceful and a 7 minute scooter ride from the chaos of alona beach. This is much better than then the other hostels in the town as alona beach itself is abit overhwleming. Can drive to a sensational beach in less than 10 minutes. 7-11 6 mins away. It was perfect. The breakfast was 80pesos and the best I had. You can book tours and motorbikes from the hostels at the cheapest prices, don't book from anyone else!
