José Aponte de la Torre Airport is 18 km from the property. perfect location next to the beach, very clean, big shared kitchen, multiple shared bathrooms. i stayed in the fem dorm which was a nice experience as well, as all guests were mindful of each other. the views from the terrace and the dining area are amazing. wifi works well. the staff is friendly, and i really enjoyed the surfing. i took a surf class with derek and he's a great teacher. i highly recommend taking surf classes & renting equipment for solo adventures. there's also yoga on the beach if requested.

Still it is very close from the town centre or beach if you don’t mind walking.

At the hostel all rooms are fitted with air conditioning and a shared bathroom. Literally couldn’t be better, hostel room was super cozy with complete privacy inside your bunk, and the public spaces were beautiful and really well kept. The photos don’t even do it justice, since they were taken all the surrounding plants and garden has grown into a lush jungle around the main building. One of the owners, Austin, was an absolute pleasure to speak with as are all of the rest of the staff and guests, truly a hub for brilliant people in one of the most untouched an beautiful places I have ever stayed. I can’t wait to come back to El Valle !!

The fishing beaches nearby are lovely. We stayed here as a compromise between my desire to stay somewhere off the beaten path, and my partners desire to spend time in Negril. It was a short drive to Negril and I really felt like I got to see a different side of Jamaica.
