Situated 300 m from Faro Marina, Casa da Madalena Backpackers backpackers features a rooftop terrace with views over the colourful marina and the historical rooftops and a 24-hour front desk reception for your convenience. The property also offers a luggage storage space. I had a great time, the space is located in a very good location and the hostel itself is very well organised, clean and the staff is extremely friendly. The breakfast was great and everything was perfect! Would definitely come back again and stay in the same place.

Set on a privileged location, the Boutique Taghostel is within walking from traditional local restaurants, bars, supermarkets and beaches. Breakfast is not included in the rate. Towels and linen are provided. It was clean, they also provided a towel and a locker. It’s really close to a beach and it’s in the centre of Lagos. Also people who were staying there were really open and warm and it’s really a solo traveller friendly hostel. Filipa is also really amazing hostess who is always ready to help everyone.

The property is non-smoking and is located 300 metres from Rocha Beach. The position of the place was great and the guy running it. Petro was the best. Never come across someone so helpful and lovely. Would definitely recommend to friends and family

They managed to create a very homely and cosy environment with multiple places to hang out. You can easily see that this place is created with love and has a soul and an own identity (in contrary to all those generic soulless hostels). With setting an environment like this they attract a crowd from many different backgrounds and a wide range of ages. You immediately feel home and welcome. It is very easy as a solo traveller to meet people here and feel part of the community. Yes, they succeed in one of the primary functions of a hostel for me, creating an openminded and welcoming community. This is certainly in my top ten hostels worldwide.
