The hostel is very well located, in the centre of the old town. It is very clean and the staff is very informative and helpful. Couldn't ask for more, as a hostel.

There's curtain of each bed so we have other privacy. The host is extremely friendly and helpful. Before I arrived, we started communicating on whatsapp and he provided a lot of useful traveling information. there's balcony space to dry our swimming suit.

Every single thing was provided for with care and attention by the beautiful Ana 🤍 She is an exceptional hostess and the most hard working lady that I have ever met. Situated 300 m from Faro Marina, Casa da Madalena Backpackers backpackers features a rooftop terrace with views over the colourful marina and the historical rooftops and a 24-hour front desk reception... I liked how cozy it felt as soon as I arrived. The staff was incredible and gave the best recommendations. They make an effort to connect people and create a great experience for everyone.

Great vibe. A lot of wonderful people passing through that were hiking the Fisherman's Trail. Wonderful surf spots in the area just down the road.
