Out of the Blue has a perfect location so you can easily reach every point of the island. It's far away from the noise and only 3 minutes walk from downtown. We received a warm welcome from Lucien, who was charming, efficient and funny. Our room was a private double, (overlooking a lush garden with pool. A super-comfy bed, good shower with quality toiletries. We shared good conversation with other guests over complimentary breakfast in the garden, good coffee too. Check in was super easy and I was able to check out late before my flight. The breakfast was wonderful and the rooms are really nice. My room had full bed bunk beds -- it was so nice to have a little bigger space to sleep after twin bed throughout the rest of my trip. The hostel is in a great location too and is super clean!

I liked that I was welcomed by the host Stefan, who was very nice and explained everything very well. You have everything you need, it’s nice and clean and comfortable and has a nice view of the pico mountains. I came in the winter so didn’t get to use the outside space, but in the summer I’m sure it’s very nice! It’s well located, walking distance to the center of the city. In the morning you have a very nice breakfast selection that helps you start the day. They really make you feel welcome and part of the “Loving Strangers” family. Thank you Stefan and Sofia

Angra Heritage - City Center Hostel provides rooms in Angra do Heroísmo near Zona Balnear da Prainha Beach and Silveira Beach. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property. It’s a very new, clean and well equipped place. The only “hostel” part of it is shared bathroom, but there is one on each floor and I think like two apartments per floor, so I never had a problem that shower/restroom was busy. I was able to check in earlier (my room was free) and leave my baggage on the last day. It’s the best hostel I’ve ever stayed. Thank you!
