Jardim das Camelias is perfectly located in Madalena (many restaurants close by, walking distance) and we were lucky to get the room with mountain view so we woke up each morning seeing Pico. The kitchen was very well equipped, everything was very clean and the house was renovated in a very nice way. Checking in and out and communication with the owners were very smooth, they were also extremely helpful and friendly. Totally recommend Jardim das Camelias, 10/10!

Accomodation was clean and tidy. Kitchen facilities were good and communal area comfortable. Location was very central. Staff was also very helpful and friendly.

The whole building is a historic place turned into accomodation and provides also convenient places for reading, working etc. I liked comfortable materasses, cleanliness and the view from the room

This Azorean guest house is a 15-minute walk from the sea and features comfortable accommodation overlooking Faial and the Pico Mountain, the highest point in Portugal. Excellent breakfast, many options. Also loved the location and that there was a pool which my grandson used almost everyday. The apartment was clean and towels were changed everyday. Any issues were quickly dealt with.
