All the other guest were super friendly, it was very easy to get in touch with other guests and even plan some trips together. The north side of the island can be colder then the rest of the island in January. I was very happy the room got a lot of blankets! I never felt cold. The house is soo close to the see! It's beautiful ❤️

The stay at Faye's place was absolutely excellent. We were certainly very welcome. The house and gardens are beautiful and very luxurious. All is new and of the very highest specification. We slept very well! Breakfast by Faye was a real treat. The view is stunning and despite the closeness to the sea and local roads, the area is very calm and quiet. Some good restaurants in the area. Ask Faye. Overall a real recommendation! A gem!

29 Madeira Hostel set in the centre of Funchal, Madeira Island. The property offers budget accommodation in dormitories and private rooms. It had good mattresses, I had a good sleep. Good value for money, I met lovely people, it's clean, good shower, they have tea and coffee available at all times. I recommend it. I think it's well located.

First of all, the kindness of the stuff and the clean rooms. The view of the ocean was nice and our room faced to east so we could see the sunrise from our window. Also the location was perfect for us. It is far from the center but close to the beach and one of the best restaurants. Oh and the best part that they got two hammocks!! You must try them out!

A comfy hostel located extremely centrally, yet in a smaller street, so it's not too noisy. The staff were very welcoming (thanks for the welcome drink!) and the cafe downstairs is very cozy. In fact, it was the best breakfast I had anywhere, let alone a hostel! The bathroom was clean, large, and shower worked perfectly. I would definitely recommend.

We did not meet the staff as we arrived pretty late. But the staff from the bar downstairs were AMAZING!!! They showed us the way, served even when they were closing and even invited us to a local celebration ! 🤩
