Location was exceptional. Beautiful view from the room. Very friendly and helpful staff. When we arrived at the hotel we were given a tour of this old renovated house. Delicious breakfast with home made jams. Room was very nice and quite spacious and clean.

A very beautiful place in an authentic small village with a nice view. The owner is super friendly and the food wonderful. The breakfast is lovely too 🥰 The rooms are big and clean. All you need is here. I wish I could have stayed longer. Highly recommended!

Located in the green mountain area of Gerês, HI Geres - Pousada de Juventude do Gerês is 5.4 km from the Homem River and the Vilarinho das Furnas Dam. By far one of the best places I've stayed. Very clean and calm, reception service very nice (Catia thank you very much for your kindness) and awesome views to mountains from there. Besides that breakfast was super good. And is not expensive at all. I recommend 100%, definitely a place to go. How to go : Bus stop is 5min walking from there. But be careful if you come from Braga city, you need to take bus 200 (direction campo do gerês) cause it's the only bus that takes you there.
