I have stayed in many hostels but this is the first time that a hostel actually felt homey. Everything is absolutely clean and comfortable. The location is perfect!!! Also, the host was super accommodating! Very nice guy. I wish I could stay longer!!!

The bathroom stood out for its clean design, perfect water pressure, and a luxurious feel. The hotel’s shared kitchen, bright and well-equipped, was perfect for preparing meals or storing snacks. Despite an unusually hot spell, the efficient and quiet air-conditioning kept our room cool and welcoming after long days exploring the city. The location is ideal—just a 15-minute walk from the bus station and close to a mall with a small Auchan, making travel and errands simple. Service was exemplary. We needed early check-in, and the staff accommodated us with genuine warmth and efficiency, making a lasting impression. Throughout our stay, every interaction with the staff was friendly and helpful, whether offering recommendations or directions. The hotel’s proximity to the city’s highlights—cathedral, tower, castle, and tranquil parks—added to our enjoyment. Food lovers will appreciate the abundance of cafes and restaurants in the neighborhood, making each day’s plans effortless. In summary, the gorgeous rooms, immaculate bathrooms, inviting kitchen, and outstanding hospitality created a memorable experience. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and genuine care during their visit.

Pousada de Juventude da Serra da Estrela is inserted in the scenic area of Serra da Estrela Natural Park. The unit is just 10 km from the nearest ski resort. Amazing place, upgraded me to a room. Highly recommend!

Cozy room with lots of natural lights, mattress is not the best but the towels were the softest :)
