The rooms will provide guests with a fridge. Good value for money. Very well equipped kitchen with everything you need. A nice yard with many fruit plants and toys to have fun with. We were free to pick some berries and apples. A little bit drive about one and half hour to almost all popular sites on the west coast, but considering the price and difficulties finding accommodations on west coast during peak season, it is surely a good choice. We travel as a family of 4 adults and 1 kid. The rooms are very well prepared with 4 single beds and surprisingly an extra folding bed which isn't shown on the room pictures. So none of us need to share a bed. Beds are very comfortable for a good sleep. Definitely come back again.

Every week Backpackers Göteborg arrange events at the hostel like walking tours, bar hopping and karaoke evenings, they are free to join for all our guests. I'd definitely stay here again! I was in a 6-bed dorm with friendly roommates. There were tons of toilets and showers right across the hall, and they were quite clean. A well-equipped kitchen with lots of fridge space was right down the hall. It was part of a big room with tables and couches to hang out, eat, or charge your electronics. There was really anything you could need. I found this to be the most comfortable bed on my trip to Sweden, when I stayed in three hostels. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Check-out was very easy, all you do is pop your keycard in the slot in the lobby. The hostel is <5-minute walk from a tram with a direct connection to the main train station.

This centrally located Gothenburg hostel is across from Slottsskogen Park and the Linnéplatsen bus and tram stops. It offers free Wi-Fi, a communal kitchen and fresh, modern rooms.

The basic accommodation at Linnéplatsens Hotell & Vandrarhem all has shared bathroom facilities, as well as views over the park or the street. Some feature a balcony. The beds were even and not saggy, kitchen was always clean and useful. The whole place exceptionally clean. I was in a dorm and bathrooms are always an issue but here they have one shared toilet/shower but then 2 other single toilets and showers so it makes it really convenient. Well thought out! Curtains on beds and individual light in bed, nice table in room, helpful staff. The decor is amazing cosy but chic. I’m older and not a fan of all this tech and codes to enter but it really wasn’t an issue at all. Good wifi and excellent overall experience. Near Haga area to walk around or historical redoubt on small hilltop. Highly recommend

Situated 3 minutes’ walk from the Stigbergstorget Tram Stop, this eco-friendly hostel is a 14-minute tram ride from Gothenburg Central Station. It offers private rooms as well as dorm beds and 2 fully equipped communal kitchens. Very comfortable room with a sink and nice deco. The room and bathrooms were clean. Nice breakfast for an extra 110 kr, coffee is free all day.

This family-run property offers cottages and rooms with free WiFi and parking. It is a 10-minute tram ride from Gothenburg Central Station. Liseberg Theme Park is within 15 minutes’ drive.

The Kviberg Tram Stop is just 150 metres from Kvibergs Vandrarhem - Hostel. The scenic area around the property provides opportunities for jogging, cycling and relaxing walks. Everything is super clean, i see the cleaners work multiple times throughout the day. The kitchen is pretty good, the room is super spacious and clean too. The walls are thicker too so you wont be hearing anybody snore through them. The location is super nice, the station is a 2 minute walk away, and the city center is 10 mins away. Super nice staff too, all in all very good experiance!
