The owner is a great guy, very nice and helpful, the staff are lovely. I was lucky to meet some fellow travelers who turned out to be amazing people and made my stay in Chiang Mai more exciting. Would definitely go back there again, if I have the chance.

The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, always ensuring we had everything we needed. The location is perfect, close to everything you might want to explore. The room was spotless and equipped with all the essentials. Highly recommend this place for a comfortable and convenient stay!

Their dorms are rather popular with backpackers (we can hear them chatting and laughing away into the night at the common area downstairs), but we very much preferred the privacy and space of our rooms. Overall, the hostel has plenty options for different kinds of travelers! :-)

I arrived at Comfort Zone at 11:00 on December 26, 2024. Joe warmly received me. Joe is the owner of Comfort Zone. He can speak a little Chinese, but his English is fluent. He is an expert in Chiang Mai and is very familiar with the area. You can ask Joe any questions. Joe warmly welcomed me and handled the formalities for me. Comfort Zone rooms are not available until 2 pm, but if you handle the formalities in advance, you can store your luggage. Thank you very much. Comfort Zone has a 4.9 rating on Google Maps and 9.8 on Booking. It is a very highly rated youth hostel near Thapae Gate. I booked a bed in a dormitory, which is consistent with the description on Booking.com. The overall style is Instagram-worthy. The location of Comfort Zone is down a straight road opposite the main entrance of Thapae Gate. Turn around at the entrance of 7-Eleven.

When we decided to extend our trip in Chiang Mai, we booked for additional days here. We had 2 different rooms throughout the stay and we were very happy with both. We felt at home. Very clean and confortable. The owner never stop smiling. Always so kind and serviable. The location is perfect, very central and close to great restaurants and cafes. Thank you for everything 🙏
