Not much else to do there. But if you have a scooter you're close to anything there. The staff is amazing and they have lots of recommendations for the island. I actually saved their Google map tags because it was really good. The rooms are comfy the pool table is great and the space in the back is great for socialising.

I love how cozy it is to stay there. It’s a small hostel but the bed is comfy. There’re plenty of bathrooms. The place is kept quite clean and the vibes are great. It seems like a family run place which i like the vibes of that.

The Funky Monkey Hostel - 18 to 40 years old only có khu vườn, phòng chờ chung, sân hiên và quầy bar ở Haad Rin. Funky Monkey is SO worth it. Staying during Full Moon? Expect great pre-drinks, free body paint, and a really comfortable stay at walking distance from the beach. Safety is unmatched: there are security cameras all around the property and the lockers provide plenty of storage. Staying outside of Full Moon? This is the perfect place to enjoy and explore Koh Phangan! Rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. It’s not a party hostel- but the social atmosphere is incredible. You’ll make friends that feel like family, will always have some activity to join if you want, and enjoy the best free breakfast & snacks at the hostel. If you’re looking to relax: there’s a massive TV with games and a bunch of couches on top of the reception. Special shoutout to Julius, the owner, who goes above and beyond day in and day out to ensure his guests have a good time (I don’t know how he does it, tbh). He’ll take initiative on organizing activities, bring snacks, and is always there to help and advise you about your travels. If you’re lucky, he may even organize a group tour showing the best of what Ko Phangan has to offer! Also, special shoutout to P1! She is absolutely incredible- there to care of all the guests. When you’re going out to the beach, she’ll make sure you’ve got a beach towel with you. When you go on a hike, she’ll make sure you’ve got some water with you. When it starts raining like hell, she’ll be there to offer you a raincoat. P1 is one of the most caring and attentive people I’ve ever met - truly incredible! Huge thanks to the entire staff for making my stay so memorable 😊

When it’s full moon, 5 days party in row and variety of party which is pool party, bubble party, karaoke party!! Also there’s free shot from 10pm. It’s the best hostel to go for pre party 🥳 When it’s between full moon, so chill and quiet! You can have relax time and local vibes. Everyone is like a family in the hostel! There’s some cute puppies🥰 you can cuddle with them!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure I felt comfortable. The rooms and common areas were clean and cozy. The location is perfect, close to everything you need. It’s a great place to meet other travelers and share experiences. Highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere!

The Purple House is situated on a main road, but several miles from city center. You will have several restaurants and convenience stores just across the street. There is also a beach nearby. All of that is within easy walking distance. If you want to go to the city center, you will need to use taxis. It’s not a big deal, they are very easy to get, and Amanda will even give you information for a taxi service you can text directly. You can also rent a scooter, but beware because we saw many bandaged up people from scooter accidents and the hospital bills are $6,000+ Just factor the taxis into the cost of your stay here. The atmosphere is nice. Amanda is really friendly and helpful. She will answer you quickly every time. She wants your stay to be nice. The house has 8 beds, a mini fridge and a kettle, a bathroom, and a main gathering space. When I stayed we had 5 and we had no problem taking turns with the bathroom and we did okay with only cooking instant noodles using a kettle. The only part that was frustrating was trying to keep the main area cooled off. We would get the temperature just right and then the housekeeping would come clean and leave the doors to the outside open for an hour and it would get hot again. If they would just keep the doors closed when they cleaned the house would have stayed cooler. I would definitely recommend this house for women traveling. It felt so safe and it was really nice to have automatic friends. Amanda and her husband have done a great job creating that.
