Nelly greeted myself on arrival. Everything was excellent, from check in to check out. She showed me to the room, and ensured I had fresh clean bedsheets. Each guest had a lockable cupboard for their own personal belongings. The hostel, was more akin to an Airbnb, there was a fully equipped kitchen, with utensils, toastie, pots, pans. The bathroom was clean with toilet paper, some shampoo, and hand wash. Nelly also offers a useful laundry service which was reasonably priced, which included washing, drying ironing and pressing of all clothing. There is a local Sunday market at the bottom of the road, with fresh produce and fairly priced clothing. Nelly's place was about a 7/8 minute walk to taksim square and a mere five minutes to the main shopping precint in Isntabul. There is a Sok supermarket about a 3 minute walk. I would definitely stay here again! I stayed at Moon hostel, which was a couple of dollars cheaper per night, but I definitely felt I got more value for money staying at Nelly's. Rooms have a kettle, while selected rooms also offer a balcony and others also have city views. All guest rooms will provide guests with a fridge. The place was tidy and clean. It was not spotless but it was higher than my expectations. The location is in a couple of minutes from Taksim square. There are markets, laundry, pastry shop and other stores nearby. It was ridiculously cheap compared to both hostals and similar hotels. The facilities were much better than I expected. The room was very clean. I appreciated so much having a desk, a closet and a slippers for the shower. Even the communal bathrooms were clean. I also really liked the location. I found so many cheap restaurants around and I was always a couple of minutes away from whenever I needed to go. I totally recommend it.

All units at the accommodation are equipped with a seating area. Lovely hostel, probably one of the best I've ever been to. It's nice and clean plus the staff is super helpfull and kind. It also has a kitchen, a living room where you can spend some time to chill and a cinema room which I haven't used but I think it's also nice that someone thought about that as well. I would definitely recommed this hostel!

The owner is very friendly and kind, the place is located very close to metro, buses, also shops like bim, a101, cheap places to eat local food, everything is reachable in a few minutes. Not first time staying here and for sure will come back soon.
