I wholeheartedly recommend The Moon Hostel to anyone visiting Istanbul; it’s a gem that enhances the entire experience!

It was ridiculously cheap compared to both hostals and similar hotels. The facilities were much better than I expected. The room was very clean. I appreciated so much having a desk, a closet and a slippers for the shower. Even the communal bathrooms were clean. I also really liked the location. I found so many cheap restaurants around and I was always a couple of minutes away from whenever I needed to go. I totally recommend it.

The location in Anatolia is excellent.. just a few meters from the metro and walkable distance to the ferry station.. Mert is a really kind and friendly person as well as all the staff there.. and also other travelers.. all of them nice people, the kitchen is good, showers and beds are also good.. thanks!
