Staying here was one of the best decisions I have made throughout my two weeks in Hawaii. Staff is truly super (helpful, friendly, welcoming, helpful) and the people you meet there are just amazing. My private room was large, comfortable, and clean. Bathrooms and kitchen were very clean, too. Location is incredible.

Popular points of interest nearby include Fort DeRussy Park, Saint Augustine by-the-Sea and Hawaii Convention Center. Hale Koa Luau is 1.4 km away and Kapiolani Park is 2.3 km from the hostel. It is a very pleasant place, has an excellent location, its employees are very attentive and formal. There is access to the bathrooms and showers almost all day long. The bliss in the courtyard is the best, every day they offer a delicious brownie.

We are located just a few minutes walk away from Waikiki Beach on the south shore of Oahu, Hawaii. We are close to Diamond Head Crater, Waikiki surf breaks, and loads of bars, restaurants, and nightlife.

Certain rooms have a kitchen with a fridge, an oven and a microwave. At the hostel rooms include a seating area. First of all, the location is absolutely fantastic! The room is spacious and well-appointed, featuring a fully equipped mini kitchen that makes it easy to prepare your own meals. The bathroom is also excellent—clean and functional. The hostel itself has some wonderful amenities, including a great rooftop and a lovely outdoor area where you can relax and enjoy the fresh air. They even provide beach chairs, umbrellas, and floats for guests, which is such a thoughtful touch and incredibly convenient! One valuable tip: the hostel offers tours at a significantly more affordable rate. Unfortunately, I didn’t know this ahead of time and had already booked tours elsewhere, but next time, I’ll definitely purchase directly through them. Lastly, the service was exceptional! The staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, and I truly appreciated their attentiveness. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend staying here!

The accommodation features evening entertainment and a shared kitchen. Perfect for a quick one night stop- the complimentary pancakes and coffee in the morning were great! The staff was very helpful!

The free chocolate chip pancakes in the morning were amazing and they also had free drink and game nights. Facilities are very clean and staff super friendly.

Accomodation on big island is really expensive 🙈 however, even it was cheap this room was spacious, clean, and all we needed to rest. It's located next to some bar, so we heard music coming out from the street, but once we closed the windows it wasn't an issue at all. The neighbourhood is not the safast one, however, on the property have had 3 locks on the way getting into the room that made us feel secure. .

Polynesian Hostel Beach Club offers dormitory rooms where guests can meet other travelers. Private studios feature en suite bathrooms and kitchens. A very nice hostel overall, dorms were clean, staff were super helpful. Wifi was strong. Lockers were adequate. There is a kitchen area, which has everything you will need. Polynesian was a great place to stay for a few days.
