Harrord and Katy are truly amazing hosts who make you feel right at home with their hospitality and good energy. The vibe of the hostel is very relaxed and welcoming, with a diverse mix of guests from different ages and cultures. The hostel is also very central and on a walking distance to many bus and tram connections. What I loved most is that you can easily choose between chilling quietly or connecting with other travelers, both options feel perfectly natural here. Since the hostel is literally a house, the combination of the cozy space, the guests’ positive attitude, and Harrord and Katy’s warm hosting creates a homelike atmosphere that makes you never want to leave. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine, friendly, and home-like hostel stay in Houston.

The location is perfect: coffee shops and restaurants are a one‑minute walk, and it’s close to downtown Dallas. Great value for the money.

Located in Austin's oldest standing fire station, this unique hostel offers conveniences such as free WiFi. The Texas Capitol Building is 0.5 miles away. As advertised. Good parking advice. Great in house bar though I spent my evenings at friends round the corner for blues. Great location.

It was very clean, the equipment is new and well maintained, there are lockers with enough space for a backpack and the hotel can supply a lock. There is a nice swimming pool with a very nice area to chill out even though it was so cold and I couldn’t enjoy it, Jonathan is professional and kind with a wonderful personality. We had an interesting chat! On top, there was a good breakfast included! The hotel is close to the highway and easy to get an Uber or Lyft, it’s also easily accessible by train to downtown Houston, 600m from Cavalcade train station. Using the Metro Rail Red line will take you 15min exactly to Main Street square Northbound station.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially when allowing me to check in a little early. I stayed in the all female dorm. The beds were huge! And very comfortable. For a shared space, the facilities including the bathroom were very clean. Other guests patronizing the hostel were very respectful.
