Horse-riding trips can be arranged. * a very relaxing week in the dorm 🛌 room 🛏️ they gave me an extra pillow and extra blanket * the “free” breakfast was scrambled eggs and toast with a half orange 🍊 and half apple 🍎 and cereal and it was very Tasty 😋 with coffee orange juice water and milk🥛 * the only thing i did NOT Understand is WHY the cook allowed the housekeeper Moni to walk behind the counter after she dropped her dirty broom 🧹 and did NOT Wash her hands and touched some food then put it in her mouth then she actually picked at her nose then she picked at the food again ~ i was about ready to NOT eat the free breakfast but instead i forced myself to eat 😢 😡 * a big thanks 🙏 goes to front desk staff Maru ~ very Helpful during check in and did her job very well 😃 * the location of this hostel is great ~ across the street from a small supermarket with many restaurants and coffee shops very close by ✅ * the wifi in the courtyard sitting area was very strong as it was also in my dorm room #1 which is next to the office and the modem * during the day all dorm room doors are open and at night you can close the door * i still give this Hostel 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ * like most tourists backpackers i just came from Montevideo and will now hop on the ferry ⛴️ to Buenos Aires ~ Happy Travels!

Set on Colonia’s historic district, Hostel & Hostel & Suites del Rio has bright dorm rooms with free Wi-Fi. Alamo Beach is 800 metres away and a daily Continental breakfast is offered. The place is very central, but also Colonia is small. The staff was very friendly. The bunks were very comfy. The shower are was spacious and clean.
