Possibly get a room with mountain views and private bathroom, which cost little more, but in any case they are good. The owners are lovely, they let me check in at early hours, fortunately the room was ready, and I could wash and tumble dry my clothing. Close to city centre, great cafes, and a wonderful vegan restaurant the “Lazy Bug”

The staff were very helpful, the room was clean and the scooter we rented was new and in good condition which gave us a good ride to the Bang Gioc waterfall. Bus tickets directly from Cao Bằng to Ha Long were not easy to book online, but the young hostess managed to find a limousine to Ha Long for us at a good price. Highly recommended 👍😄
