We felt at home thanks to Duy and his family’s hospitality. The room was very spacious and clean, as were the bathrooms. They helped us organize transport to other towns and were always very responsive and eager to assist. The heart and soul of the house are the three beautiful cats, which make the stay feel even more homely. Duy also gave us excellent food recommendations—be sure to follow them! If I ever return to Ha Giang, I will definitely stay there again.

I especially loved waking up to the stunning view of the mountains and rice terraces right outside my window. It was like something out of a postcard! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to assist with everything – from motorbike rentals to suggesting hidden gems in the area that only locals would know. Their knowledge and passion for their hometown truly enhanced my experience. The food at the homestay was another highlight. Each meal was homemade, fresh, and delicious – a true taste of northern Vietnamese cuisine. Sharing dinner with other travelers and the host family was a wonderful way to connect and learn more about local culture. Whether you’re exploring the Ha Giang Loop or just looking for a peaceful escape in nature, I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s more than just a place to sleep – it’s a home away from home.
