We loved everything about our stay at Nothando Backpackers. Vinthi, the owner, made us feel at home for our 5 night stay. Our private room was cleaned every day, it had everything we needed including a microwave, fridge, and kettle, and the shared kitchen is well equipped with every appliance. The location is incredible, a short walk to the Main Street and the beach. Definitely recommend staying at Nothando!

The location is absolutely gorgeous. I could see the ocean from my bed. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is also quite social. There is also a restaurant so you have everything there that you could possibly need.

All of the staff were very kind and friendly. The room was nice than I expected. You really don't need to leave because a restaurant, small store, and the beach are literally right there! If you don't want to swim in the big waves, a small calm lagoon is a short walk down the beach.

The banks of the Touw River are a 5-minute walk from Fairy Knowe Backpackers Lodge. Free private parking is available on site. The environment is great, people was very friendly and accommodations were confortables. Location is good and easy to reach by car. Breakfast was nice as well. On the weekend the bar iwas the meeting point with good music. Recommend it!

Would definitely recommend!

Guests of the hostel can use the free barbecue facilities on site. Nice place to stay very well located close to the Tsitsikama hikes, the room was small but had all we needed. The private terrasse was very appreciated :) We did not get the chance to test the pool but people in it seemed to enjoy it

The hostel has a barbecue and mountain views, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. This was so nice. It felt you could really get out of it what you wanted. If you wanted to engage with the staff and people there you could but you could also retreat privately. We staid in one of their private huts. The views were STUNNING for the sunset. The pizza was also very good.
