Vinthi, the owner was Amazing! she was so hospitable and gave us great advice on what to do and see around PLETT. she also made muffins in the morning, and made a beautiful cultural dinner for us. The house was super clean and the cleaning staff were so kind as well. it was such a pleasant experience and if i ever find myself in Plett again i would stay there again.

All of the staff were very kind and friendly. The room was nice than I expected. You really don't need to leave because a restaurant, small store, and the beach are literally right there! If you don't want to swim in the big waves, a small calm lagoon is a short walk down the beach.

Everything was ok for the price. But the real kicker was the lady in charge, Debbie. She went above and beyond consistently to give me the best possible experience in Plettenberg Bay. There were some misunderstandings with management about the room pricing, which she handled admirably. Also, she gave me a lift when I really needed one, asking for nothing in return.

Surrounded by nature, Tube 'n Axe Backpackers is located in Storms River Village, 14 km from Tsitsikamma National Park. Relaxing environment and nice facilities.

It felt you could really get out of it what you wanted. If you wanted to engage with the staff and people there you could but you could also retreat privately. We staid in one of their private huts. The views were STUNNING for the sunset. The pizza was also very good.
