Situated just a 15-minute walk from Central Beach, Nothando Backpackers Lodge features a garden, shared lounge area and fireplace for BBQs. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. This was one of my best hostel experiences anywhere in the world. The host went so far out of her way to help with recommendations and to ensure you have a perfect stay. Couldn't rate Nothando's highly enough. Definitely worth staying at if you're in Plettenberg Bay.

The facilities were ideal. Cool in the heat, good shower, clean bed, lots of space in the private room. Very practical and given the price, a bargain. The staff and owner were brilliant. All of the staff were very kind and friendly. The room was nice than I expected. You really don't need to leave because a restaurant, small store, and the beach are literally right there! If you don't want to swim in the big waves, a small calm lagoon is a short walk down the beach.

Bordering the Wildeness National Park, Fairy Knowe Backpackers Lodge features a garden equipped with BBQ facilities. Guests will find a bar on site and can make use of the shared kitchen. In the bush / trees / nature close to Half Collard Kingfisher hiking trail. Relaxed, calm, tranquility. Only 25 minute walk to grocery store good to get the steps in for the day.

It felt you could really get out of it what you wanted. If you wanted to engage with the staff and people there you could but you could also retreat privately. We staid in one of their private huts. The views were STUNNING for the sunset. The pizza was also very good.
