Situated just a 15-minute walk from Central Beach, Nothando Backpackers Lodge features a garden, shared lounge area and fireplace for BBQs. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Everything is amazing there. The owners are the kindest people I've ever met. I traveled in more than 115 countries but I've never met so nice people. The room was very clean, comfortable.. Vinthi, the owner, is the entire day around, she helped me with a lot of things. She even asked her husband to give me a lift early in the morning. The area is very safe, we walked every night to the restaurants. I highly recommend this place.

I returned there 2x so it’s definitely the best place in Wilderness to stay!

Bordering the Wildeness National Park, Fairy Knowe Backpackers Lodge features a garden equipped with BBQ facilities. Guests will find a bar on site and can make use of the shared kitchen. Every year I visit Fairy Knowe it improves. The staff are always extremely helpful and the vibe is great! You can do all sorts of activities, and there is live music at the bar on the weekends (week days too in season) All round great experience. They always go above and beyond to make my experience a good one. Highly recommend this lodge and Backbackers! The rooms are super cosy if you feel like being more private! The bathrooms are super clean. The location is great with INCREDIBLE food options in the town! Thank you for the incredible experience. I’ll be back in December.
