The view from the pool was beautiful overlooking a luscious green forest. It was a very serene and quiet environment. The place was very neat, clean and comfortable. Very nicely styled. My kids loved the bunk beds and the library. The owners were very friendly as well.

We chose the budget option, and that's what we got. The room is small, no TV or wi-fi, but it is very clean, the water pressure in the shower was amazing, and I felt very safe there. The staff is very friendly, specially the people working in the restaurant/bar. The food was plenty and very delicious. The location is really good, right at the beach, and it's a short walk from there to the Hole in a Wall.

Lovely backpackers, the staff were very sweet and helpful. The hostel area was clean and taken care of. Very tasty and affordable food. We stayed on the other side of the river which made it more difficult to get to the main area ( especially at night) because of the tide but just remember a torch and to walk carefully. During and after big thunderstorms there was no electricity or network for quite a while, so make sure to have everything charged.

stayed a week this time. The great location. safe. car in secure area. The staff very helpful. Highly recommend the Birdhouse. this is a return visit for me, a go choice. 7 breakfasts were good.
