Diego, a forestry engineer specializing in water, dreamed up this inn 20 years ago as a sustainable refuge for agro-ecological production, surrounded by the fruit trees that are his passion. Since 2021 he has been accompanied in this adventure by his partner, Marcela. Together they welcome guests with warmth, personalized attention and a careful eye on the experience.

Property information

Finca La Carla is a sustainable retreat, especially for those who value design and calm. Only five minimalist suites overlooking nature for an intimate and personalized experience. Each corner is decorated with original pieces, noble materials and a stripped aesthetic that invites you to relax. As a souvenir of your stay, your hosts offer a wide variety of organic products of their own elaboration such as sweets, olives, spices, and of course, wines. For the last 3 years, Finca La Carla has specialized in the production of apple sparkling wines and different distillates that capture the spirit of the place and the time shared.

Neighbourhood information

San Antonio is located 4,5 miles from National Route 40. It is a small village inhabited by about 25 rural families, many of them raising goats, sheep and farm animals. The name is due to the fact that it is the San Antonio River that provides the whole community with melt water from the Andes Mountains, which is used for human consumption and irrigation of fruit trees that grow very well in the temperate microclimate of the place.
