Alpensuss is a sustainable and comfortably furnished chalet for 2 to 6 people. Luxuriously and modern, with 2 complete bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. One bedroom with washbasin and one with a bathroom ensuite. Alpensuss has its own EV charger, type 2, with 11 Kwh charging capacity. We invoice a charging credit of 10 euros per day in advance. Afterwards, we offset the electricity costs against the charge credit and, if necessary, against actual costs incurred. This detached holiday home is located in Kötschach-Mauthen, a lovely village at the beginning of the famous Lesachtal along the Italian border in the south-west of Carinthia, Austria's sunniest province. The large windows in the livingroom/kitchen offer wide views of the countryside and mountains. You can darken the windows and leave the sun outside with electric blinds. The living room has air conditioning. On the ground floor, there is a spacious bathroom with toilet and walk-in shower. The infrared Sunshower lets you relax your muscles after an active day. The upstairs bedrooms are larger than average and have luxury 180 x 200 cm box-spring beds. We offer a free baby cot. Alpensuss also has a washing machine and a dryer. The kitchen has everything you need to put a tasty meal on the table. You can stream your favorite media to the TV, there is also an audio system on which you can stream your music and listen to your favorite radio station via the internet. In the spacious storage room, which you reach with two steps from the house, you will find all kinds of materials for your entertainment. Think of a BBQ, but also a lovely hanging chair that you can clip to the eaves in summer. The kids can use the inflatable sleigh in winter on the ski slope. In summer you can use our helmets for gorge walks or when you rent a bicycle.

We are Theo and Anita, we are sporty, active and enterprising and have 2 daughters and 2 sons-in-law. All lovers of winter sports, hiking, cycling and swimming and we love music and nature. After 10 years of experience with our holiday home on the Aegean Sea, we have now consciously opted for a place closer to home, in a more natural environment. We like neat and clean, are careful with our belongings and have respect for our environment and nature.

Alpensuss is located in a cute little street right next to a green mountain meadow, which turns to a ski slope in winter. Great for kids and beginners. The Vorheggbahn ski area has a tow and chair lift and a ski school. Nassfeld, just 25 minutes drive, has 110 km ski slopes. In summer you can enjoy walking, cycling or other activities. About 400 meters away you will find the Aquarena, a public swimming paradise with a large sunbathing lawn, wellness and tennis courts. During the summer season, late May to early September, we offer our guests free swimming tickets for up to 4 people for 50 euros per stay. Kötschach-Mauthen and surroundings offer you a wonderful holiday all year round with its relaxing nature and many activities for young and old. You can do beautiful walks, but also cycling, golf and horse riding is a possible. The difficulty of the walks varies. If you like to be challenged, then take the the Garnitzen Klamm and the Mauntner Klamm. These gorges are very spectacular. In the Mauntner gorge an helmit is obliged. We have two helmets for you in chalet Alpensuss, feel free to use them. For your groceries it is less than five minutes walk to the village center. For your entertainment there are also nice shops (including a Tedi and Bipa) and for a bite to eat you will find various (cafe) restaurants.
