Ferienhaus Fux is tucked away at the end of a quiet dead-end street — a little corner of nature and calm, perfect for slowing down and breathing in the fresh mountain air. 🦊✨ On the ground floor, you’ll find a cozy kitchen, an inviting dining room, a bright living room, and a modern bathroom. The first floor offers three lovingly furnished bedrooms as well as an additional WC. 🍳 Living & Cooking The kitchen is fully equipped for relaxed holidays: microwave, gas stove, built-in oven, dishwasher, plus a fridge and freezer. Dishes, cutlery, and all essential cooking utensils are of course provided. 🛁 Bathroom The spacious bathroom features underfloor heating, two sinks, a large shower, WC, towel warmer, and hairdryer. A towel package (washcloth, hand towel, and bath towel) can be added on request. 🛌 Our Rooms • Dachstein Room – South-facing with balcony, double bed, large 3-door wardrobe, and safe. • Grimming Room – Also south-facing, a charming attic-style room with double bed and safe. • Lawinenstein Room – North-facing with two single beds and a wardrobe. Freshly made beds and soft, cozy linens await you on arrival. 💚 🏞️ Terraces & Atmosphere The rear north terrace overlooks a peaceful little pond nearby — the perfect spot to unwind. On the sunny south terrace, you’ll find a grill, and during the season you’re welcome to pick fresh herbs from our herb garden. 🦊 Practical Comforts for Your Stay A lockable storage room is available for your sports equipment — ideal for skis, bikes, and hiking gear. Normal electricity and gas usage are, of course, included in the price. Your daily included amounts are: • Electricity: 5 kWh/day • Gas: 7 m³/day in winter or 2 m³/day in summer This is normally more than enough. If a little extra is needed, any additional consumption is simply billed at current rates.

I graduated from the University of Veszprém with a degree in tourism and marketing. Although my professional background is mainly in international marketing and PR, hospitality has always been close to my heart. We love skiing and hiking, and for a long time we dreamed of having a small house in Austria, close to the mountains and a ski region. When we discovered this little house, we immediately fell in love with it. It has been renovated with great care and attention to detail to create a cozy, comfortable home away from home, with a true Ferienhaus Fux spirit. We take great pride in looking after the house and are fully dedicated to making our guests feel welcome and well cared for. Providing a smooth and pleasant stay, as well as continuously improving the guest experience, is very important to us. Our goal is that every guest feels relaxed, comfortable, and truly at home — just like a fox finding its perfect hideaway in a calm and peaceful place. I am always happy to help with local tips, activities, or any questions before and during guests’ stay. I strongly believe that trust and clear communication are key to a great guest experience, which is why I always aim to be responsive and available. We enjoy welcoming guests from all over the world and doing our best to make their stay as comfortable as possible. I am a native Hungarian speaker and I am also fluent in English and French. Guest welcome, check-in, and check-out are handled by Kitti, who also speaks German and English.

With the Winter/Summer Card (Salzkammergut Card), you’ll enjoy plenty of discounts and benefits at many attractions throughout the region. You receive the card automatically with a stay of three nights or more – easy and Fux-friendly. If you love staying active, your adventure begins right outside the front door 🏔️🧗‍♂️🚠⛷️🚴: • Several cross-country ski trails and hiking paths start nearby. • The ski bus is free with a valid ski pass, and the stop is only 100 meters from the house. Otherwise public parking to Ski Tauplitz Valley Station/ Tauplitz Talstation Berglift is a mere 9 minutes drive. • Cross-country skiers (in sports clothing and with a valid ticket) can ride the Bad Mitterndorf ski bus once per day free of charge – as well as the lift in Tauplitz-Ort. • Plenty of cycling routes await the cycling-enthusiasts.
