The nearby gondola lift, which is only 700 metres away, gives you convenient access to Austria’s biggest contiguous ski area, Wilder Kaiser/Brixental. The centre of Westendorf, with its numerous shops, restaurants and bars, is about a 15-minute walk away. Gasthof Aschenwald offers cosy rooms in Tyrolean style, a rich breakfast buffet, a pleasant family atmosphere and a large parking lot.
