This family-run hotel is situated in the centre of Hallein in the Tennengau region, 15 km from the centre of Salzburg. If offers free parking and there is a steak restaurant serving Austrian and international specialities on site. All rooms at the Hotel Hafnerwirt have a private bathroom with a hairdryer, free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. Within a 5-minute walk you can reach the Museum of the Celts and the Silent Night Museum and within a 5-minute drive you can get to the famous Hallein Salt Mine from the Hotel Hafnerwirt. Werfen's Ice World and Hohenwerfen Castle are 25 minutes away by car. The railway station is 300 metres from the hotel and the Hallein exit of the A10 Tauern Motorway is 1 km away. Salzburg Airport can be reached within 20 minutes by car. The bus to Salzburg stops on site. Guests receive a region guest card upon check-in, which affords them discounts on bus and train rides between Hallein and Salzburg.
