Haus Traumhorst is jointly owned by Bas, Kay and Frank. We are Bas, Kay and Frank and are joint owners of Haus Traumhorst. What started as a joint dream has become reality for us with Haus Traumhorst. All three of us have been in Austria since our childhood, where our love for the country and the mountains originates. Haus Traumhorst is created from this passion for Austria and our entrepreneurial spirit. The name Traumhorst refers to the following: First ‘Traum’ refers to our dream that has become reality and to the dream view that you can enjoy from the house. Secondly, ‘Horst’ refers to the village in Northern-Limburg (Netherlands) where our roots lie. Lastly, a Horst is the name for the safe nest of a bird of prey.

Haus Traumhorst is located in the picturesque Heiligenblut am Großglockner surrounded by the beautiful nature of the Hohe Tauern National Park and at the foot of Austria's highest mountain, the Großglockner. Haus Traumhorst is located 900 meters from the centre of Heiligenblut, where also the mountain lift of the Grossglockner/Heiligenblut area is located. The ski bus stop is 100 meters from the house. Haus Traumhorst consist of three apartments, all three completely new, modern furnished and fully equipped. The names of the apartments are Montan, Alpin and Nival. They refer to the height division within the Hohe Tauern National Park, each with its own characteristics and Flora and Fauna. The garage of Haus Traumhorst is still being converted into a full-fledged ski room, but it is already available for storing your ski equipment. The house has a driveway, which has room for 3 to 4 cars. In addition, there is a public parking lot near the ski bus stop and during the winter season you can park for free in the covered parking garage in the centre of Heiligenblut.
