Landhotel Mariensäule in Wernstein am Inn is located at the Inn River on the border between Austria and Germany. All rooms have a private bathroom and modern furnishings. Some have a balcony and flat-screen TV. Several have a winter garden and Wi-Fi is available free of charge. Landhotel Mariensäule is operated in an ecologically friendly manner. Wood is used for heating and warm water is produced by solar energy. The garden has a small bathing pond and children’s playground with a ship-shaped climbing frame and slide. Bicycles can be borrowed from the property free of charge and a bicycle garage is also available on site. A terrace and barbecue facilities can also be used at Landhotel Mariensäule. The Wernstein Train Station is just 200 metres away and Golf Club Über den Dächern von Passau can be reached by car in 20 minutes. The local climbing wall can be visited 500 metres away. Guests can visit the Kubin Gallery in town. The venue displays art by Alfred Kubin, a famous Austrian painter, who used to live in the neighbouring town Zwickled.
