This exclusive hotel offers scenic mountain views and cosy rooms in an annex of the historic Leopoldskron Palace, just 2 km from Salzburg’s historic centre. Scenes from The Sound of Music were filmed on site, and the Salzburg Festival was founded there. The property is divided in 2 buildings, the Meierhof and the Palace The 55 rooms in the Meierhof Building and the 12 Suites which are situated in the palace, feature satellite TV and a bathroom. A fitness centre and bikes are at guests' disposal upon availability and free WiFi is provided in all areas. Leopoldskron Palace is privately owned and not generally accessible to the public. Guests enjoy free access to the palace, the Max Reinhardt Library, and the chapel. The daily breakfast buffet is served in the majestic breakfast room in the palace. In good weather conditions, guest can also have their breakfast on the panorama balcony. Free private parking and two charging stations are available at Hotel Schloss Leopoldskron. Jogging and cycling trails are right outside. Guests can enjoy free access to a public pool and miniature golf course situated next to the hotel complex during the summer season.
