A summer holiday in Zell am See-Kaprun offers one thing above all: lots of variety! Fancy mountain adventures with a fantastic view? On hundreds of kilometres of hiking trails you will discover panoramic peaks and rustic huts. Mountain bikers, racing cyclists and gravel bikers will also find numerous tours - from the valley to the summits. On hot days, Lake Zell beckons with a refreshing dip. You can go swimming or enjoy one of the numerous water sports. Zell am See-Kaprun is also known for its many exceptional excursion destinations, such as the Schmittenhöhe, the Kitzsteinhorn, the Sigmund Thun Gorge or the high mountain reservoirs in Kaprun. In winter, Zell am See-Kaprun is the hotspot for all winter sports enthusiasts. The snow-sure region offers an XXL ski season from October to June thanks to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski area. If you love winter panoramas, you should definitely try the new 3 K-Konnection panorama lift from the Maiskogel to the Kitzsteinhorn. On the Schmittenhöhe you can ski on the perfectly groomed slopes with a magnificent view of Lake Zell. Away from the ski slopes, the best conditions for winter hiking, cross-country skiing, tobogganing or ski touring await you.
