Located directly on the shores of Lake Faak, this family-run hotel combines beautiful views of the Karawanken mountains with a cosy atmosphere, a wide range of sports and spa options, and refined gourmet cuisine. Wellness- und Genießerhotel Karnerhof is perfect for those seeking relaxation as well as for active holidaymakers, gourmets and families with children. On 100,000 m² of meadows and gardens, on the almost Mediterranean lakeshore or around the pool landscape, each guest will find his or her special place to relax and unwind. The extensive sauna area features a sanarium (herbal sauna), a Finnish Aquaviva sauna, a hot sauna, an ice fountain and a Turkish steam bath with an artificial starry sky. The Karnerhof's hotel restaurant serves light dishes for sports and spa guests, as well as regional specialities from Carinthia and Mediterranean cuisine inspired by the proximity to Italy. The chef himself buys the fresh ingredients on the regional weekly markets. In fair weather you can also dine on the lakeside terrace. The studios, suites, apartments and rooms are very spacious and equipped with all modern amenities. Most offer wonderful views of the lake. Wellness- und Genießerhotel Karnerhof is located in one of Austria's most beautiful holiday regions. Lake Faak is Austria's cleanest swimming lake and one of the warmest lakes in Carinthia. It is ideally suited for sailing, kayaking, swimming, fishing and pedal boat rides. Tennis and beach volleyball courts are right at the hotel's doorstep. The surrounding area offers many opportunities for mountain biking, hiking, golf and skiing.
