Situated in the idyllic landscape of the Neusiedlersee-Seewinkel National Park, this former post office that has been converted into a charming hotel offers a unique accommodation in a tranquil location. Hotel Zur Post features cosy and clean rooms with free internet access, a restaurant, a terrace, and modern conference rooms. The helpful staff can organise tickets for all cultural events around Lake Neusiedl and provides insider tips. Airport shuttles from Vienna and Bratislava are available on request. A wide range of Pannonian dishes, traditional Viennese cuisine, and excellent local wines are served in the restaurant and on the garden terrace. Located in the centre of the small town of Illmitz, Hotel Zur Post is an ideal starting point for enjoying the famous wines of the region. Ferry boats take you to Mörbisch on the opposite shore of the lake, where a famous operetta festival takes place. Parndorf, with one of the largest outlet shopping centres in Central Europe, is only a short drive away.
