Aldgate Creek Cottage is a delightful self-contained chalet in a private garden setting that has all you need for your comfort, enjoyment and relaxation. Bright, sunny and spacious, with its own gardens and the Aldgate Creek flowing alongside, this luxury Cottage is a perfect place to unwind - and yet with all the amenities of Aldgate Village so conveniently close! The Cottage has 2 garden entrances just for guests - so you have the Cottage all to yourself! And, the Cottage is ideally located for exploring the Adelaide Hills - and all just an easy 20 minute drive from the central business district of Adelaide! The Cottage is stocked with provisions for a self-catered, continental-style breakfast using quality, locally sourced produce. This includes bread, cereals, fruit, milk, juice, jams, tea, and Nespresso coffee – perfect to start your day. These provisions are supplied in generous amounts to cover the first two mornings of your stay. We would also encourage you to explore the excellent local food scene – there are some fantastic cafes and bakeries nearby, as well as a great local supermarket just a 2-minute walk away if you'd prefer to top up and continue self-catering. The Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen and dining area to make this easy. We’re also happy to accommodate any specific requests if we’re given at least a day’s notice before arrival – just let us know and we’ll do our best to help. Enjoy the large spa bath, huge shower head, heated towel rails, spacious lounge, deck with seating, reverse cycle air conditioning and wood-free open fire, smart TV with Netflix, fully equipped kitchen, and laundry. Upstairs the mezzanine bedroom and balcony look out over the gardens and creek, and you feel you are in your own private garden retreat.

Whilst we have only purchased the cottage in late 2018, we have lived within a couple of kilometres of the town centre for nearly 30 years, so hopefully we should be able to help you find anything you are looking for to make your stay enjoyable. We believe that when you are here this is your home for however long you are staying and that you will be relaxed, comfortable and happy. Aldgate is close to many local attractions from Mount Lofty Summit and Gardens to Cleland Wildlife Park and historic Hahndorf. Visit the local excellent Hills wineries, sample delicious locally made and grown foods, enjoy walking trails, the beautiiful countryside, golf, bike riding, excellent cafes and designer boutiques, local markets selling crafts, plants - and much more! During your stay self-catering is a great option as the Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Bring your own provisions and if you need to stock up, then there are some wonderful shops in the area selling local specialties, and you can also stock up at the excellent local supermarket and stores. Aldgate is a pretty little village with great restaurants and central to so much that's available to enjoy in the Hills.
