Situated in the picturesque heritage village of Evandale, Arendon Cottage is a charming 1-bedroom Georgian cottage. Recently renovated and returned to its original design. The cottage is fully self-contained including full kitchen and laundry facilities. Breakfast is also included.
Although Evandale is just a short 10-minute drive to Launceston and 5 minutes from Launceston airport, you could be forgiven for thinking that you are a world away from the "hustle and bustle' and have been transported back to a more relaxed time.
Many people stay with us for the convenience of being close to Launceston, the regional centre for Northern Tasmania.
Within easy walking distance of Coffee shops, Bakery, Pubs, and all manner of village stores and galleries, etc.
If you visit us on a Sunday, a short stroll to the end of the street, you'll be delighted to find the Evandale village market. One of the best in the state.
During the months of February and March, the village comes alive with the National Penny-farthing Championships, Village fair, and the internationally acclaimed Glover Art Awards. Some of the regions’ big events.
