We purchased our property in 1991 and have subsequently built our dream country lifestyle. We love living in this idyllic, peaceful spot and sharing it with our very special family that includes a chatty cockatoo, lots of gorgeous horses, two very friendly dogs, four cats and 2 donkeys that we adore. We are lucky that our work is our passion - all things equine! We do enjoy entertaining and travel. Our life mantra is - live well, love much, laugh often! All the Team here at Avoca Park love our guests and all our animals love the attention... For a real life equine & country experience Avoca Park is the place for you.. Surrounded by beautiful, well maintained gardens, you can walk the paths, sit and read a book under a tree, watch the horses be educated in the indoor arena, wander through the stable block during feed up time and feel the peace. Avoca Park has been created from love and dedication to the animals... We'd love you too come and enjoy this too. :)

We are so privileged, Avoca Park is situated between the Yarra Valley and its wine region, and the Dandenong Ranges and its beautiful bush-land and fern gullies. Our local town, Emerald, hosts the Steam Train - Puffing Billy, where you can go on a wonderful trip from Belgrave, through Emerald to Gembrook. It also hosts Emerald Lake Park where you could spend the day on the lake riding paddle boats, fishing, and walking trails. Emerald also hosts beautiful cafes and some kitchy shops. Locally, Gembrook has State Forests to walk, horse or bike ride in. Also hosting the renown restaurant, The Independant. Healesville hosts the wildlife Sanctuary where you could spend the whole day surrounded by amazing native gardens and native animals. Yarra Glen is home to the newly renovated Chocolaterie, a must for ALL chocolate lovers. Go and see first hand how their chocolate is made. The many, many wineries we have within a 30minute drive are too many to name BUT there is a combination of Sparkling at Domain Chandon. Whites and reds at De Bortoli, Rochford and Balgownie to name a few. Lastly we have the World Champion Gin Distillery, Four Pillars. A must for any Gin fan. All within a 30min drive
