Just 5 mins out of Gloucester, along Thunderbolt’s Way, perched above the beautiful Barrington River, Barrington Hideaway is a rural retreat located between the charming towns of Gloucester and Barrington. An ideal base for accessing the world heritage Barrington Tops or as a destination in it’s own right, Barrington Hideaway provides a relaxing experience where you can enjoy wildlife, tranquility and luxury. Each of the red cedar cottages are set amongst a well establish native garden to ensure you have private accommodation for your stay. While relaxing on your private verandah enjoy the open views of the Barrington River and surrounding countryside. Each cottage is furnished to reflect a luxury standard and is equiped with 2 bedrooms, a twin bedded room and a queen room and stylish bathroom. There is a spacious lounge, kitchen, dining and a great outdoor area with Webber BBQ for outdoor dining. Wildlife is abundant with common siting’s of Platypus from the cottage deck or from river path being a highlight for many.

Make this peaceful retreat your base for exploring the great natural wonders of the Gloucester region. Take a trip up to the Barrington Tops, go kayaking down the Barrington River, or mountain bike or horse riding. There are also wine tours to be enjoyed and a visit to the local farmers markets, followed by a coffee in one of the numerous cafes in the charming town of Gloucester, is a must.
